This Wednesday Microsoft is offering up two new games for download on XBLA. Sadly, Sunset Riders isn't one of them. But if Meteos Wars and PowerUp Forever (both 800MS points) is what you were hoping for, bully for you. Starting today, Wii gamers can nab Bruiser and Scratch (1,000 Wii Points), Hockey Allstar Shootout (500 points), and this week's headliner, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (500 points).
What about PS3 gamers? They get what they normally get, nothing. But iPhone and iTouch owners do get the chance to download Fast and the Furious: Pink Slip (Vin Diesel not included) from the App Store for $5.99. I don't own an iPhone or an iTouch myself, but it sure does seem to offer some interesting stuff.

Every now and then you've probably played a game and said to yourself, "I could make a better game than that." But if you've taken a crack at doing just that you'll find it's a lot harder than it looks. I've spent a boatload of time on XNA (Microsoft's game studio that lets community members create their own games) for a piece I've been working on about the service and if I could get my game to look half as good as Pong I'd jump on my couch like a love struck Tom Cruise.
XNA is not for the faint of heart, it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to get a game through the challenging publishing and peer review process, which is why its so cool that with the New Xbox Experience gamers can now play XNA titles that were previously only available to other XNA members. These independently created gems are just like indie films - they offer something you're familiar with but always with a unique twist.
It's that time of the week again, time for GamePro Arcade to give something away. The prize this week? A free XBLA download of the very fun "A Kingdom for Keflings". A game where your 40ft avatar rules with an iron fist. As usual, winning is easy and completely random. All you have to do is answer the following question:
What arcade or console game would you most like to play using your New Xbox Experience avatar?
Write your answer in the comments section, answer as many times as you like, the winner will be drawn Sunday. Good luck!

Space Invaders is one of those classic games that never seems to get old. When I hit the greatest arcade in the planet at Weirs Beach, it was the one cabinet that I just couldn't stop going to. Three weeks ago gamers were able to download the original Space Invaders arcade classic to their Wii's. Today, you can try out the newest version, Space Invaders Get Even (500 Wii Points). Wii owners can also pick up Pit Crew Panic (800 points) and Metal Slug 2 (900 points).
And for 360 gamers? You get Banjo Kazooie (1200MS points)! Yeah, I know. I said it was coming out last week. Ooops. Hit the jump for all the details.
