Flash Game of The Month: Dead Frontier

Oct. 24 2:44 PM by Andrew Ramsey

Want a zombie game that will scare you and give you a thirst for bloodlust? Well Dead Frontier has you covered, and its also our Flash Game of the Month. With its creepy atmosphere, intense music and edgy game play this flash game is sure to ensure pleasure. Dead Frontier is a top down shooter similar to the old GTA style of game play. First you choose your difficulty and in making that decision you will determine what weapons you start off with and of course how difficult the game is.Your objective is to make to the extraction point where supposedly a chopper is waiting for you to whisk you to safety. Upon hearing this you and two of your NPC buddies start your journey to that point. Along the way you will encounter numerous bad guys ranging from floor crawling zombies to flying birds that just want to eat your eyes.

Visually the game doesn't have a lot to offer but you're not expecting a whole lot out of a flash game. Its not that its terrible,it just not going to visually stun you. The overview gives off this sort of dark vibe that makes it seem like you're in a dark light room and a flicker of light is glowing around the outside of the screen. This adds to that horror effect and is quite impressive. The sound quality however is what makes this game so wonderful. It's very Resident Evilesque sound during the opening moments instantly brought me back to that state of mind one would have during a zombie killing spree. The quality of gunshot and head pops is also has a nice sound to it.

Dead Frontier is a great flash game and one you should have bookmarked or downloaded to your desk top to show friends, or to get a good scare on those lonely nights. This especially makes a great Halloween game to share about for the upcoming season. Go out and kill some flesh eaters and try not to soil yourself while doing so.
