What's this? More freebies? Yep. Starting today and ending Saturday GamePro Arcade's running a contest that can win you a free copy of Mega Man 9. I have 1 XBLA and 1 PSN code and I'm looking to give them away. All you have to do is write a comment on any GPArcade post this week to qualify, winners will be announced next Sunday. Make sure that somewhere in your comment you write "PSN" or "XBLA" so I know which code you're shooting for.

You can post as many comments as you want, but I'll only count one entry towards the contest (I learned my lesson after last week). As usual, winners will be randomly selected. If you haven't won anything yet, don't worry. GPArcade will be offering more contests in the coming weeks. Good luck!

psn rules forever, okay on to my voice now, the beta programs that are going on in my opinion should be for everyone. download the beta and you just send in your feedback on any improvements or glitches that happen during your game play experience. betas should be for everyone that is what i really think, little big planet rocks, i was able to score a beta code and i play it for hours everyday, i was unfortunate not to get in the home beta which is another beta that i was very much looking forward to try but no one isn't giving out anymore beta codes which sucks now to find out that it was pushed back for delay release once again. when will we finally get home being homeless is not a good look on ps3 (look at wii with there avatars the 360 did get it yet but it's on the way), anyway do you have anything to do with beta releases or should i say do you have any pull to get these companies to listen and give everyone betas for now on?

I am currently arcadeing "Castle Crashers" on (XBLA).
Although this game is fun and full of bizzar weaponry..it can be a little thumb numbing ,CC boast level for your money play.
To often, when I download games...I find that they or either to short of play or just plain stupid.
Castle Crashers changes that. Its fast,fun,full of surprizes and caps over 40+ levels. So, demo it, download it then play it. So my shout out goes for the big well little CC on XBLA!

PSN is great for a free online service, and I haven't played a classic Mega Man game in many years. LOL!

 

everything should have stayed free on psn like in the old days of playstation 2 internet adapter where you buy an online game and your on your way playing who you want,download contents was all free then,

 

I can see your point on why beta's should be open to everyone but I disagree. The reason a beta exists is so a developer can see what works and what doesn't and help fine tune their product. Limiting a beta allows developers to keep the numbers they look at managable and assure themselves that they are looking at data from a dedicated audience. And naturally, it builds up interest in a game. Chances are if you didn't get a beta code, you'll most certainly want to play the game even more when it releases. We all want what we can't have.

I played the demo at my friends place. It was beyond difficult, but it was addicting. So, i downloaded the demo on my PS3, through PSN and i loved it. The game feels old, but still has a sense of fun to it that makes you continue to play it. PSN

 

coloradojoe1 what you said is on the money but to the poeple that do get the beta codes and not reporting any problems with the game how would the delevoper know what is glitching and freezing for what is playing how it suppose to?
