Remember bowling? You get your ball, line up your shot and hurl it down the lane hoping to get a strike. Well, the guys over at 21-6 Productions are changing the way you think of bowling with Rocketbowl. Featuring a 50s style retro-futuristic vibe, out-of-this-world courses, and rocket-powered bowling balls this title will surely keep you busy and sharpening your skills on the new and improved spin on this classic sport.
The basic controls are simple and easy for anyone to use. You line up your ball to the flashing number that appears above the set of pins. Use the power meter to set up how much oomph is put on the ball and finally release it. As an added control option you can use the analog stick to guide your ball as it runs towards the pins and also use X, Y, B to use a rocket option to add a last minute boost to your ball. I didn't really use the rocket ball option until later in the game but it's cool to just use it before you crash into the pins to see what will happen.
Rocketbowl is not a title to just brush off. It has a lot of features to it that are fun and exciting. Getting your friends online to have an online tournament and show off your skills you honed from the single player.
