Classic Remake: Quest for Glory 2

Old school gamers have a chance to relive their early gaming moments beginning this week. A popular point and click adventure title from more than 15 years ago is making a comeback this month with AGD Interactive's release of the classic Quest for Glory II: Trial By Fire. This remake of the 1990 Sierra title includes completely updated graphics, a revamped combat system, and best of all, it's free.
The developer seems to be targeting fans of the original but for those unfamiliar with the game; puzzles and multiple adventure elements are at the heart of this title.
Starting with a remake of the second game in the series seems like an odd decision, but the first Quest for Glory was already remade, albeit in 1992.
The five part series began in 1989 with Quest for Glory I: So You Want To Be A Hero and concluded in 1998 with Quest for Glory V: Dragon Fire. This fantasy game takes place in Glorianna and the objective is to convert the main character into a hero by performing quests. After 10 years without another Quest for Glory, this remake will appeal to diehard fans or those looking to be introduced to this classic gaming series.
